Historical Background

Tilingatar Higher Secondary was informally formed as Panchakanya Primary School in 2017 BS (1960 AD) with strong initiation of late Lal Bahadur Rana (Magar) and late Kedar Bahadur Basnet, in Dhapasi VDC-7. Two years later in 2019 BS (1962 AD) it was formally founder under the registration of HMG Ministery of Education.

The school had to face many ups and downs and as a result the classes 4 & 5 were collapsed in 2030 though it was registered till class 5. But there were many hindrances due to the lack of building and teachers, so it remained in class 7 till 2044. In 2045 the school was upgraded to class 8, as a proposed secondary school with strong initiation of the then headmaster Hari Lal Shrestha, teaching staff and 21 students of class 8, likewise class 9 and 10 were started gradually in 2046 and 2047. The school sent its students for SLC who secured satisfactory result in 2048 for the first time in secondary level on 2052.09.13 as per the decision of the Government.
